About Us

Advocacy Coalition for Sustainable Agriculture (ACSA) is a national network of Civil Society organizations (CSOs) which work with smallholder farmers and promote Sustainable Agriculture, Agricultural market development, Research and Advocacy. This is aimed at increasing farmers` understanding of policy issues affecting small holder farmers in Uganda.

Empower civil society organizations working with small holder farmers to advocate for favorable AGRARIAN policy environment for sustainable agriculture communities

VISION

An empowered smallholder farmers' community working in a favorable Social, Economic and Political environment

WHAT WE DO

Focus Areas

For ACSA to accomplish its mission and vision, six strategic focus areas were identified and these are; Advocacy and Lobbying, Research and documentation, Capacity building of member organizations (MOs), capacity building of ACSA Secretariat, Networks and Partnership building.

Tax Policy Brief on FY 2023/24 Tax Bills in Uganda

To realize the UGX 28.922 trillion in the FY, numerous amendments in the country’s tax laws were proposed on the various tax heads. This analysis takes into consideration the taxation amendments that have a direct bearing on the Small Holder farmers, providing highlights of the FY 2023/24 tax amendment proposals.
